Wireless System for DC and DR Backup Sites
Deployed Aruba wireless controllers at the Data Center and DR backup site, giving the organization central Wi-Fi management with automatic failover.

Overview
This project set up Aruba wireless controllers at the main Data Center (DC) and the Disaster Recovery (DR) site. The controllers manage all access points from one place and keep Wi-Fi running if the main site goes down.
The challenge
The wireless network relied on a single point of control, so a failure at the main site could stop Wi-Fi service. Settings and policies were not the same across sites, which made management slow and troubleshooting hard. The organization needed a setup where the DR site could take over right away.
The approach
We installed and configured Aruba controllers at both the DC and DR sites. The controllers were set up for redundancy, so access points move to the DR controller automatically if the DC controller fails. We applied the same configuration, SSIDs, and security policies on both sides and connected user login to the central authentication system. Finally, we ran failover tests to confirm the switch works smoothly.
Results
- Automatic failover between DC and DR controllers - One central place to manage all access points - Same settings and security policies at both sites - Less downtime risk and stronger business continuity
